I had a bit of video material left on my phone of the Extraschicht this year so I thought I'd just make a little bonus clip out of it 🙂

Video quality isn't that great, because this is from my phone instead of my dads good camera though.

All of the music played on the DRSSTCs was done by my midistick. Some songs are SIDs and some are MIDIs.

In this Video we repair my old Hameg HM203-4 oszilloscpe from the eighties which can't show a properly focussed trace anymore. And i also forget to lock the white balance on the camera to make cuts look extra bad 😛

I've been given this a long time ago by my physics teacher. Playing around with it is what got me started with proper electronics projects. So it has quite the high sentimental value for me 😀

We had a meetup with some guys from the forum last weekend and I took my tesla coil with me. The meetup took place in a half-empty old lung clinic from the 30s, which had an auditorium. Logically I set up my tesla coil there, the reverb is purely from the room 🙂

After two years pause we finally got to set up our show at the substation museum in Recklinghausen for the not so annual Extraschicht again.

Set up were one massive 5m RSGTC, one 3m DRSSTC and two 2m DRSSTCs. The 3m DRSSTC unfortunately went poof during one show.

This was played from a sid file with my midistick as the synthesizer generating the data for the tesla coil. It also uses the new phaser/hyperVoice feature that emulates the the pulse width register of the SID chip.
